We have been learning figurative language. We learned about personification. Personification is giving life to non-living things or animals. We had to create a poem about school or the beach using personification.
The Beach
The leaves danced in the wind,
Swaying to the calm melody,
Until they laid still,
Waiting for it to begin again.
