Auckland is rated the third most liveable city in the world. There are beautiful beaches, lovely parks and clean fresh air. It is a multicultural city and it has the famous sky tower right in the middle of the city. I enjoy living in Auckland.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School. I am in Room 8 and my teacher is Mrs Ramkolowan.

Samantha And Makaela Donating Swimming Gear.
Two year 6 and 7 girls donated swimming togs to our school. Their names were Samantha and Makaela. Today they visited our school and they showed us how to swim at our swimming pool. I am very grateful for their effort and their donations. They also have won many medals, trophies and ribbons as they have competed in many swimming competitions.

Class Rules Room 7 and 8
Walt: take responsibility for the class rules.
On the third day of school, we combined with Room 7 to make class rules. I personally agree that it is vital to have class rules to make it fair in the classes. First we wrote down our individual class rules. Then we paired up with somebody from the other class to see what we both had in common. After that we then got into groups of 4 and then again found the common rules that we all had in the group. Next we got into groups of 8 and did the same thing. Next we discussed what were going to be the class rules. Then our teacher ( Mrs Ramkolowan ) wrote the final rules on a big piece of paper. We only suggested 8 class rules. The easiest rule I found to follow was to speak with our inside voices. The consequences should be sent out of the classroom, detention and sent home.
